Jennifer DeFrancisco
Jennifer is a Retiree Benefit Specialist and has been working at Beacon for the past several years. Her main responsibilities include handling the day to day interactions with both clients and members. Jenn is efficient at resolving member claim issues and problems in a timely manner. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of Medicare, and continuingly educates Beacon members regarding their medical and prescription drug plans. Aside from this, Jenn has been instrumental in developing the social media handles and website at Beacon.
Before coming to Beacon, Jenn worked at HealthNet of the NorthEast and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in various roles, of customer service, sales and account management. Jenn demonstrates compassion, patience and respect to those that she deals with, and prides herself on being even keeled when dealing with the most complex situations. She has a bachelor degree in Social Work from Eastern Connecticut State University and currently holds an Accident/Health Producer License in Connecticut. When Jenn is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends and traveling to the white sandy beaches of the Caribbean.
