Paula Desousa –DiMatteo
Paula DeSousa - DiMatteo fills a dual role at Beacon, providing Account Management Services to employer groups and individuals as well as Individual Medicare sales. As a Licensed Insurance broker, Paula assists and educates retirees in navigating their way through the complex world of Medicare. As with everyone at Beacon, she prides herself in delivering exceptional, individualized service tailored to each client’s health care and financial needs. Paula represents the largest and most respected insurance carriers. This broad ability to service each individual allows her to continuously adopt her approach and solutions to the ever changing world of health insurance.
Paula has worked in the health insurance industry for over 15 years, 7 of which have been with Beacon. Prior to Beacon, she began her insurance career at Health Net Inc. serving in various insurance roles: Client and Member services, Account Management, and Sales.
Paula is a licensed Life, Accident, and Health Producer/Agent in Connecticut and holds a B.S. in Physical Education/Exercise Physiology from Southern CT State University. In her free time, she enjoys working out, traveling, photography, and spending time with her family and friends. Furthermore, Paula speaks Portuguese, and enjoys engaging and assisting the Portuguese community.
